Great Christmas Gifts For Second-Time Moms

For all the second-time moms out there, I like to think I have an idea or two on some good Christmas gifts that we would appreciate.

After giving birth to our second baby, things got a little chaotic going from one kid to 2.

I became a mom to 2 under 3 overnight.

Since I am a busy mom to a toddler and a baby, I like things that make life easier with small children as well as things that can help me unwind.

There is obviously nothing wrong with getting things that don’t do these things, but that is just me.

I noticed that as a mom of 2, it can be tough to get things done with 2 small children.

And it’s even tougher to get in some me-time and self-care.

This is why I’m so appreciative of things that help me be a more efficient mom and help me feel good.

There are a few things that I received lately that are doing just that for me and I want to share those items with you all in case you are looking for good Christmas gifts for second-time moms.

If you are looking for some gift ideas for moms who just had their second baby, then just keep reading.

What Do Second-Time Moms Need?

Before I get into some gifts for second-time moms, let’s talk about what a mom might need the second time around.

There is a lot of emphasis on the baby when you are pregnant such as creating a baby registry and decorating the nursery.

Which I completely get, but we mommas, need things too.

And I’m not just talking about things that we will need postpartum.

I’m talking about things that make us feel good and will make our lives easier.

If you all read my post on what you can do for a mom who just had her second baby, then you know that it’s the little things such a bringing a meal or helping wash the bottles that can make a new mom very happy.

These are the things that make life easier with 2 small children and what most of us moms would really appreciate.

So when you are trying to figure out what a mom may want or need, think of a task that they are constantly doing, such as cooking, washing dishes, and laundry, and find a way to relieve them of that task.

It is one less thing that they have to do.

And they can spend that time doing something for themselves.

I’m telling you, as a second-time mom with 2 small children who are with the kids the majority of the time, doing these things really goes a long way.

Now that I have talked about what second-time moms need and would appreciate, let’s get into some Christmas gifts that second-time moms would love.

Great Christmas Gifts For Second-Time Moms

Baby Whiteboard

So the first couple of Christmas gifts that would be great for second-time moms are items that will make life with a baby a lot easier.

Starting with this Baby Whiteboard by Mewl.

I mentioned this whiteboard in my newborn essentials in a past blog post and I want to mention it here again because I love how useful this whiteboard is.

So this whiteboard is basically a tracking log that you can use to track your baby’s feeding and sleeping patterns.

This tracking log is great because as you notice your baby’s patterns, you can begin to create s schedule around it.

I have sort of created a schedule for my 6-month-old baby girl using this whiteboard because I have been noticing that my baby is eating and sleeping around the same time every day.

If you are interested in this tracking log, I do have a coupon code that you can use to save you some money on this whiteboard.

If you use the code JUSTMOM10 through the link here, you can save 10% off your purchase.

Solly Baby Loop Carrier

The next item that has made life easier for me as a second-time mom is the Solly Baby Loop Carrier.

A lot of you all know that I’m a big fan of babywearing and I will wear my baby for at least the first 6 months and longer if needed.

I was originally using the Boba Wrap, but as my baby started getting bigger, I wanted to get something different.

And since babies grow pretty quickly, I wanted to have a carrier that is durable and comfortable for me to wear.

This is why I love the Loop Carrier by Solly Baby.

The fabric is thick and breathable and it’s very simple to adjust.

This particular carrier is made for bigger babies starting at 15 lbs so this carrier can be used well into toddlerhood.

Baby wraps and carriers are great gifts for second-time moms and I was gifted a coupon code for Solly Baby that you can use to save some extra money.

If you use the coupon code JASMYN10, you will be able to save 10% off your purchase using my link here.

Solly Baby Mama Jogger Set

Another item that I received from Solly Baby was this Mama Jogger Set.

It comes with a long sleeve shirt and jogger pants that give the ultimate cozy vibes.

I love how comfortable this set is and how I can either lounge around the house in it or run out to get some errands done in it.

I got this set in the Holiday Cinnamon color and my coupon code JASMYN10 also works on this set using my link here.

Bearpaw Slippers

The next cozy item I want to mention is these Bearpaw Slippers.

These high-quality slippers are a must for me and what I have on my feet at all times when I’m home.

Between the plushy interior that is comfortable for my feet and the durable exterior that gives it the ability to be made for indoor and outdoor use, I’m one comfortable and happy mama.

I know that the Ugg slippers are really popular, but if you want to pay half the price for the same style of quality, then get these Bearpaw Slippers.

Weekly Self-Care Notepad

So an item that I have recently received that is unique is this Weekly Self-Care Notepad from Hearts Apart Creations.

This notepad not only helps you plan for the week but also helps you keep with some self-care activities and develop good mental health habits.

It has 50 sheets that will last the majority of the year and the blue design is so pretty.

I like to consider Sundays as a rest day for me and this is when I sit down with this notepad.

If I had to say my favorite part of this notepad that I get to fill out, it is the area where you state 3 things you are grateful for.

Sometimes life gets chaotic and when you express gratitude, it is a gentle reminder of the good in your life.

The owners of this company were also kind enough to give my audience if you do decide to shop with them and get this self-care notepad.

If you use the code JASMYN, you get 15% off this notepad when you shop through the link below.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask

While we are on the subject of self-care, another I like to incorporate once a week is a face mask.

And my favorite face mask that I have been using is the Himalayan Charcoal Mask by The Body Shop.

It is a purifying mask so it tingles when you put it on which to me feels like it is working.

Self-care is so important as a stay-at-home mom and this is one of the things that I like to do for myself while taking care of my skin.

S’ip by S’well Stainless Steel Water Bottle

As a breastfeeding mom who is trying to keep her supply up, drinking water is a necessity.

And I don’t know about you all, but I love a cute water bottle to drink out of since I’m drinking water through the whole day.

I love this Water Bottle by S’ip by S’well.

It keeps my water cold for long periods of time, doesn’t sweat when I’m put it on my nightstand, and of course, it’s pretty.

Organic Peaceful Tea by Earth Mama Organics

Another drinking item I want to mention is this Peaceful Tea by Earth Mama Organics.

If you have all been following along with my blog, then you know that I love to drink tea and will drink different tea based on what I’m needing or feel.

I already love their Milkmaid Tea since I’m breastfeeding, so when I saw that they also had a tea that is supposed to help with stress, I just knew that I wanted to try it.

This tea promotes a sense of calm, relieves occasional anxiousness, and helps promote sleep which is exactly what I need as a mom of 2 young children.

This tea would make a great gift for a second-time mom who loves tea.

Apple Watch

And the last two items that make great Christmas gifts for second-time moms are technology-related.

Starting with my Apple Watch.

My watch is just so useful for me because it allows me to keep my hands free and my phone is essentially on my wrist.

There have been so many times that I have missed a phone call because I left my phone is in another room and wasn’t able to answer it in time.

Well, I don’t have to worry about that anymore because now my phone calls come through my watch and I can answer them there as well.

I highly recommend getting an Apple Watch if you are a busy mom of multiples.

Amazon Echo Show

And the next device that I usually on a daily basis is our Amazon Echo Show.

In our house, Alexa is very much our friend and we talk to each other daily.

Whether I’m telling her to turn on the lights, play lullabies, or have her add an item to our grocery list, this device comes in handy.

If you have noticed by now, I like to have things that require me to be hands-free because there is a chance that I will have my baby or toddler in hand.

Our Amazon Echo Show is another device that allows me to keep my hands free and get things done around the house.

Your Turn
