About Me

Hey yall! My name is Jasmyn or “Jas” as many like to call me and I’m the mama blogger behind the blog, Just Jass!

I’m from the small state of Arkansas, but I am currently living in the state where they love to say everything is bigger!

You guessed right, the good ole state of Texas!

I’m a stay-at-home girl mama to 2 beautiful little girls and married to a man who I have been with 10 years!

I’m a book and tea lover and when I’m not working on my blog, you can find me sharing bits and pieces of our lives on Instagram or strolling down the aisles of Target and DSW!

Giving birth to my first daughter in 2018 was one of the happiest moments in my life.

But it was also one of my darkest moments.

The first year of her life, I dove head first into motherhood and completely lost myself in being a mom.

I not only became a new mom in 2018, but also I became a new stay at home mom.

Which was something that I had never planned on doing and I found myself deep in postpartum depression feeling lost, hopeless, and a complete failure as a wife and mother.

One of the ways I pulled myself out of this depressive state was by writing out what I was feeling.

In 2020, I started my blog as a way to air out what I was feeling as a mom of my then 1 year old daughter with the hope that someone could relate to what I was going through.

And I found out that I was not alone with my feelings.

This blog sparked life back into me and I found myself feeling more and more like myself again which in turn made me feel much more confident as a mother.

Fast forward to today, my then 1 year old is now 4, we added another girl to the mix in 2021, and my blog has become so much more than a just hobby.

I still share my experiences but I do so in a helpful way that can help out a fellow mama who is adapting to being a stay at home mom with smaller children and could use some tips on how to remain productive and manage the mental toll of motherhood.

When you are here, you will find parenting advice, productivity tips, and positive mental health that will help get you through your days and give you the confidence to take on parenting!

Not to mention, I sprinkle a few cute pictures of my kiddos throughout the posts! 😉

I hope that you will stick around and join me and my Jassy Fam as we navigate this thing called “mom-life” and rock it together!

Love,

Just Jass
